This Peppermint Tart from Yum Baker was alright. I guess when I bought it I was expecting a classic peppermint crisp tart - but the peppermint was way too subtle for my liking and there wasn’t really any “crisp” element that I had hoped for 🤪

Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, but it didn’t live up to my expectations. It was also very rich - it looks like a very small dessert, but I couldn’t finish it all in one go. If you’ve ever had the mylkshakes at Kaylee’s Eatery, the cream in this tart tastes a lot like the cream used to top the Kaylee’s mylkshakes. I’m not a fan of that cream and because the cream was almost the main thing in this tart, I’m not sure I would get it again.

Although it wasn’t what I was expecting, it satisfied my craving for a nice vegan dessert and I think it’s fantastic that there are so many ready-made vegan desserts available 🤷🏼‍♀️
