Review of Nori Komi Furikake (Japanese Mutli-Purpose Seasoning) - Trader Joe's by theveganfeast
This Nori Komi Furikake Japanese seasoning is a combination of tiny strips of dried nori, black and white sesame seeds, kelp powder, and salt. And unlike the traditional recipe for furikaki, this does not contain any added MSG.
The seasoning is really delicious on just about anything. We sprinkle it on rice, soups, popcorn, tofu scrambles, pasta, ramen...
It adds a lightly salty, ocean flavor to foods, so it's also really great for any type of vegan "seafood" you might make, like crab cakes, or fish tacos.
At $2.49 for the jar, I think it's a great value for adding flavor to so many foods.
