With a minor obsession for all things coffee & a major obsession for all of the issues interconnected to the v-word, I was elated to find this brand. I was equally happy to discover the ingredient list is small, organic and, the milk has a subtly sweet, mellow & delicious flavor - no cows needed. Yum! (This morning, I made a matcha latte and found a momentary slice of heaven while sipping & watching Teddy sniffing at the breeze & rolling in the grass.)

tamiapple I recently learned to make matcha lattes on YouTube & just started making them at home! It’s easy & delicious. I don’t have a recipe, as I’m still adjusting for my taste, but here is a simple way to make it (I’m just about to post the matcha brand too, so let me know if something I write doesn’t make sense, etc).
1. Boil approx 1 cup of water.
2. In a mason jar (or any jar with a tight fitting lid), add 1 tsp matcha powder
3. Pour hot water into jar with matcha, tightly screw on lid & shake vigorously (with heat protection on hands) for approx 20 seconds. This is matcha tea.
4. In a second mason jar, add approx 3/4 cups hot or cold plant milk of choice, a half tsp of sugar (if desired) then pour half of your tea into the jar. replace lid & shake again for approx 20 seconds. Adjust flavor & shake again if necessary.
5. Pour into your favorite glass & enjoy! 😊4 likesReply

vegpledge Ah thank you so much for your detailed instructions! I’ve been putting off trying to make it because I don’t have a matcha whisk, but I have lots of jars - that’s such a great idea! I’m definitely going to give this a try at some point soon - I’ll let you know how it goes! 💚2 likesReply
