This cheese π€π§ was pretty thick and concentrated, but not worth the price of $21 imo. Not very sure what to do with vegan cheese wheels other than eating them by themselves like a snack or melting into pasta sauce. I tried a few things with this. First was crumbling it onto pizza π which didn't work well as it didn't melt but became more crumbly in the oven and made the pizza pretty salty and dry. Later on I melted it into creamy pasta sauce π which was nice. It has a unique grey colour when melted with plant milk because of the charcoal π€ but not quite black squid ink. I also melted this mixed to stir into the pasta as sauce for baked pasta. I added mozzarella vegan cheese on top so as to make it more legit and cheesy π§ I used a quarter of this π§ for each meal. I think it's meant to be more thick and concentrated than other vegan cheeses so one can use less at a time, also means I need to melt and make it less concentrated. Else eat it on its own as a snack. π€π§
