Review of Okonomiyaki Waffles at Mong Cha Cha Cafe 梦茶茶 by xinru-t
Different from the dessert waffles, these savoury waffles were made using What If Foods bamnut milk and chickpea 'egg yolk'. Stuffed with crunchy shredded vegetables including purple cabbage, white cabbage, carrot, and turnip, then topped with housemade okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, and seaweed flakes. Savoury and best eaten hot. Interesting fusion dish albeit not exactly like okonomiyaki - would have liked have mushroom 'seafood'! ($9.90)
