Edit to add this protip: If you have an airfryer, add thinly sliced onion and vegan cheese on the slider, let the slider crisp up for a few minutes in the airfryer and then add tomato sauce 😍😍
I was so hoping that Woolworths would make vegan savoury finger food options, so I was so excited to see the arrival of these sliders 🤩 they are pretty good, but also a little disappointing - it mentions BBQ and dairy-free cheese sauce, but it barely contains any of that (see photo 2 and 3 for reference). It’s almost like they put a decent amount of sauce on the sliders but then decided to scrape it all off, leaving just a bit of residue on the bun 😂 they are also a tad salty. Having said all of this, I enjoyed these sliders and I might buy them again and add a few of my own toppings. These are so great for picnics/parties/get-togethers with friends 👏🏻🍔

sunshineyum Yup, has to be a consideration for ready made items, but I do not remember their non vegan sandwich items being so dry way back when I used to eat them, so...if they can manage it there they must give us the same. 1 likeReply
jeanne-marie I hear you - they had ready made mushroom burgers quite a while back. They were so tasty and if I remember correctly, reasonably saucy with good toppings. Not sure why they discontinued it, it was amazing. 1 likeReply
ftc Great tip with regards to the air fryer thank you . Must say I enjoyed that it wasn’t drenched in sauce , but I am not really into most fast foods because it’s usually drenched in sauce . However my daughters would probably agree with you 1 likeReply
jeanne-marie After finishing the packet, I realised it’s not so bad without all the sauce (I just feel cheated 😂). For the price, I would expect a decent amount of toppings, but I suppose with the lack of sauce, it kind of gives you free rein to do whatever you want with the sliders 🙌🏻1 likeReply
