My second time having African food (specifically Eritrean and Ethiopian). I got the vegan platter which included almost all their vegan dishes: Timtimo lentils (red lentils, onions, chili, garlic and herbs), Alicha (potatoes, onions, carrots and bell pepper), Shiro (chickpeas, herbs) and Hamli (spinach with herbs). All served on injera bread which is fermented teff flour pancakes basically! So tasty. My favorite was the Hamli. You eat it like this: tear off some bread, wrap it around the food, insert into your mouth. No cutlery required. It’s not only tasty but also a fun eating experience. I had it with some African pineapple beer 🍍 12.50€ for the whole platter, 4€ for the beer! Well worth it.
