They forgot to add beetroot hummus n i didn't ask for it because quantity of brown rice was a little too much😅 n i didn't want to waste food😅 but now I'm regretting that, i could've just asked them to pack it 😂
Pineapple gassi tasted like a dish my mom used to make when i was non vegan. I don't remember the name, but it was a curry made from curd, pineapple n spices. I liked it so much!🤩🤤 I'd have liked the chickpea falafel to be a little soft but taste wise it was good. Not spicy 🤸‍♀️💃so i ate it all without having to drink water✨ really cute plates 🤩

unejanie what is pineapple gassi? and pineapple pachadi?2 likesReply
lol1409 I haven't heard of gassi either, by that name, so I'll leave that to Anju. Pachadi is a simple class of yogurt-based sides from Kerala (/ Keralite?)cuisine(s). Sweet and sour. The pineapple one is more on the sweet side. But there's also coconut, mustard (seeds) and green chillis to give it some spice and "body". Probably cumin too? We use peanut or soy curd for the same, although we rarely make pachadi unless it's a special occasion. 2 likesReply
lol1409 It's also from Tamilian cuisine, I suppose. They have loads of common things and similarities. The line is blurry, at times. I was looking it up and I realise some varieties also don't use yogurt. Ex: Raw Mango pachadi (this is the sweet one I was thinking of earlier, not 🍍). (The mango is raw, pachadi in itself is a cooked/reduced thing). Pretty thick/viscous. 1 likeReply
anjunj I don't know what gassi means either😅 but google showed that gassi means curry in Mangalore (place in Karnataka, India) side. and pachadi was explained by Lalitha really well💃✨😄🤗2 likesReply
