What makes a great bagel? According to Chef Google: "A good bagel should have a dark crust with a dense, chewy interior ... it shouldn't be too bready or too flat". I would add that a great bagel doesn't contain animal products, is inexpensive and is readily available, making it convenient to purchase. Thomas' plain bagel hits all the marks, making it a great choice. #abillionlove

danielgl They tried to launch in Spain, but didn't fly. I bought so many Thomas's while I could!! Reply
danielgl You do have a point about fresh-baked goods... It is just a bit strange that no bakeries that I have found make bagels either. May be because breakfast here is really light, like a croissant and coffee. So maybe the cultural leap is just too great to support such a different, non-fresh, more filling product? 🤔🤔🤔Reply
