Is it similar to the lotus root in mala, taste wise? Or different seasoning?

I would say that was the taste I was expecting and it was pretty different from that

This was an interesting dish to say the least - it was heavily seasoned with cumin which was quite different too all the chilli rich dishes we ordered along side it #veganuary
