This was a very interesting cheese 🧀 If you have just the layer on top, it tastes like cardboard 😅 I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like since it's the first time I've tried camembert! The inside tastes great on crackers though 🙌

bluesoul Actually, you do eat the rind, which is the outer layer, that is actually supposed to be the delicacy about it. Maybe this brand is not that good, but the rind is usually the best part. If you can get New Root's vegan camembert there, that one is heavenly.2 likesReply

herbimetal The inside is meaty I'm surprised it's vegan. Not as meaty as the first time I remember it though. Still very good.Reply
herbimetal And make sure you consume it in less than a week from opening. It can get mouldy if you keep it too long.1 likeReply
