Review of Egg replacer - Bob's Red Mill by waisum
I’ve not tried any other egg substitutes apart from chia seeds (once when baking a brownie) so I was quite amazed by this! Am definitely pleased with my first attempt at making French toast sans ovo 🤗🐣 It was even easier than using eggs lol. FYI I also cheated by adding slightly more than a pinch of turmeric to get that sunny yellow for extra visual effect and a dash of kala namak for some eggy savoury-ness🌻 Eggcited to try whipping up some pancakes next!

julesbateman I always use saffron instead of turmeric, I find its yellow warmer (just the same as eggs!) and its taste better 😁 but I know it’s kind of expensive...! The toasts look amazing anyway! I usually use Oggs or chickpea flour 🙂2 likesReply
waisum Thank you for the tips! 🧡 I like turmeric and don’t mind the taste😋 I also topped it with cinnamon and agave syrup so couldn’t quite taste it in the end. And yeah it’s definitely more accessible than saffron. Is Oggs a brand? Don’t think I’ve come across it before..1 likeReply
