Cake Care Box at WellSmoocht — xinru-t's Review (Jul 11, 2020)

Someone ordered a cake care gift set for me as a surprise delivery during Circuit Breaker. Overall, this box of treats were not just aesthetically pleasing but also delicious.
Lemon Sea Salt Crumble Cake - This cake was crumbly but still moist. There was a very interesting combination of sweetness, saltiness, and tanginess. This was without doubt my favourite bake of all!
Banana Rose Cake - This cake had a fluffy texture with floral notes throughout. This was surprising because I initially thought the flower petals were just scattered on top for aesthetics, but there was actually a floral fragrance integrated into the banana cake.
Matcha White Chocolate Cookie - This cookie had a strong matcha aroma. The bitterness of the matcha was balanced out by the white chocolate bits.
Cheesecake Brownie (GF) - This cheesecake brownie was rich and moist. The sweetness quite mild; I think the sweetness was natural and made from dates. However, the edges tasted a little sour.
Pistachio & Strawberry Ladoo - Both ladoos had a nice toasted taste and a bit of crunch from the coconut and sesame seeds. I didn't really notice much difference in taste between the pistachio and strawberry flavours
Lychee Raspberry Donut - The donut bread was chewy and light, and thankfully not oily. The frosting was fruity and very sweet.
