Review of Mole mixteco at La Pitahaya Vegana by veganvoyagers

The mole mixteco was hands down the best thing we’ve eaten in this city so far. It’s handmade with metate, served over pink tortillas filled with Tabascan bananas and rice a la Mexicana. The bitterness of the mole paired with the sweetness of the bananas was absolutely incredible. Not too sweet, not too spicy, plus the Mexican style rice was an extra flavor depth that rounded out the dish nicely. Plus the tortillas make all the food look even more delicious and are perfect for photos. 😂 Have been dreaming about it since we ate it. 10/10
