I appreciate that BrED is 100% #vegan, which is obviously kind of unusual for a #bakery. It makes knowing what you can and can’t have much easier. The #cinnamonrolls here don’t come frosted- you have to ask for and pay extra for a little portion cup of it if you want it. So for a #frosting lover, it wasn’t ideal for me. Tasted good, but not easy to apply to the cinnamon bun in the car…

This was one of the best #cinnamonrolls that I’ve had so I’m glad not to have been disappointed after waiting so long to finally get one. The outside was almost #crispy but the inner layers were so #soft and #chewy. I do wish that they provided more #frosting, but maybe they would have if I’d asked.

We’d heard of BrED before - the last time that we were in Whistler was at the height of COVID. We tried to get #cinnamonrolls but had to wait in line for a hour and then found out that they were sold out of everything other than #cookies. The cookies were good, but not what we had originally wanted. Anyway, finally got back to Whistler recently and this time got a better haul. The #sourdough was super good. We used most of it on top of a #homemade #french #onion #soup.

This was the only other dessert option that they had left when we got there. Still disappointed that the cinnamon buns and ginger molasses cookies were all gone, but I’ll admit that this was good.

We came hoping for cinnamon buns, but didn’t arrive until noon and they were sold out of pretty much everything (now we know for next time at least). The cookie was alright, but disappointing that many non-vegans (I suspect) cleared out this vegan joint. 🙄

No trip to Whistler is complete without a stop at BReD. Possibly the best cinnamon bun I've ever had. It is all about the sourdough at BReD and it is all delicious.
