Finally got to try this #veganporridge I was always apprehensive abt #pumpkin dishes cos it always tend to be sweet. This one wasn’t and it was a nice #savoury type. Very much like the #congee style. For it’s price,i really feel they could do with more of the #mushrooms. But it also comes with a fried #youtiao and 3 pcs of #mockchicken .

Was having a random curry rice craving & decided to give this a try since it was nearby. The OnlyEg omelette tasted more like tofu skin to me & nothing “eggy” about it 🫤. The filling of long beans is a nice touch. The Tindle cutlet could be better seasoned, tho I like how lightly crispy the skin is & how tender the meat is. The curry on this dish was the saving grace as it gave just the right amount of flavour to save everything else. For a dish that’s S$15, I’ve gotten better value elsewhere.

Now this on the other hand is absolutely crappy. First, they forgot this order and we had to remind them. It was soooo oily,soggy,the radish was overcooked and the ‘omelette’ was rather burnt. If u wanna make #veganeggs ,please do it right. A complete waste of time n money n wasted calories.

Their #curry here is super spot on. They serve d Chinese style #vegancurry not d Indian style ones. Thick,creamy,spicy,flavourful and full of vegetables. Thrs cabbage,long bean,black fungus, carrots,and also that plant based chicken on top. Doesn’t make u feel very healthy eating it but heck, its curry so just be sinful. Served with white rice.

ok this dish. iirc it was really yummy but can get sick of it after awhile. and i get the really heavy food coma feeling after eating this… even though i was sharing this with a friend. recommend to share this and another dish thats lighter like porridge so you dont get home too heavy.

Update: they upgraded their recipe for the tindle cutlet.. it is so so much yummier.. the seasoning or batter is really good. 🫶🏻 Delicious. Rather generous portion. The vegan egg is so so for me. I’ve seen reviews raving about them but I personally prefer JUST egg. The tindle breading is good but I can taste the unpleasant chic ‘game-y-ness’ on most bites. When there’s Hainan curry craving. I know where to go now..

Saw some reviews abt this place and decided to check it out. I was really curious abt the OnlyEg. And yes this is so good! Chinese style creamy n slightly spicy vege curry,they pour the curry over d rice. They’re very generous with the vege. The OnlyEg was good,surreal good kind of way cos it tasted n looked like a regular omelette. And it’s stuffed with chopped long beans in it,super love it! The tindle was fried crispy. I had tindle in a burger and katsu curry dish before and this was good. Only had 3 pieces tho, but its fine cos this was a huge serving so just eat less rice and finish up all d dishes. Im a big eater,and even I can’t finish everything. This is not a vegetarian place but they hv a decent selection of plant based items. So it’s a good place to go with meat eating friends so everyone wil have choices.

Can I just say that TiNDLE chicken has improved soooo much from their first edition??? Tried this hainan curry chix rice with #onlyeg egg and it was fabulous 🫶🏼🫶🏼 they were extra generous with the rice and curry so pls go on an empty tummy 💁🏻‍♀️ The egg was not SUPER egg like but delicious nonetheless. Tindle cutlet was BOMB 🔥🔥 Curry was damn shiok alsoo #hainanchixrice

Think this was abt 11.80! The chciken didn’t do much for the dish, but it had lots of vegetables and came with white rice 🥰 the curry is on the lighter side (not as thick as the one served on the rice) and the vegs were crunchy, fam said they’d have preferred if it was stewed longer
