I love everything about Moksa. So here it is again, another fantastic dish we made together with Chef Made. Everything was locally sourced, raw, and so effing delicious. Chef Made is truly a wizard. How does he do it, banger after banger? Throughout the entire cooking class, he doesn’t actually let a single ingredient go to waste. He kept the banana peels to dehydrate later on so he can pan fry it into a different snack, mango feels go into the compost, etc. Just incredible! I feel truly lucky and privileged to be able to just hop on a 1.5 hr plane ride when life gets too hard, then be healed at this place.

Such a fantastic dish 🤩🤤 this may be my first time trying #shirataki noodles. They are pretty neutral and don't have much flavor but the texture is nice. This #noodlesoup was served with the broth separate so you pour it over the noodles. Inside with the noodles was also fake chicken, braised greens, mushrooms and some #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease, fried #tofu and oyster mushrooms. I honestly wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it was deep fried because I avoid those foods. However this was so delicious and I must have been meant to eat this haha. It was all so perfectly savoury and spicy too. I loved it ! #noodles

Super yum #avocado heavy starter that is all raw ! The toast is made from #coconut. I liked how it had both an avocado mash and chunks. And there was some herby flavors present too, basil and something else I wasn't sure. A beautiful dish with a perfect presentation and great compliment to the main meal! #avocadolover #bali

For my #1000threview I wanted to review something really special so I'm so happy for it to be one of the most impressive and all time favorite dishes I've ever had. This dish is something I crave and only dream about when I go away from Bali ! It's so creative, special, unique and delicious and I've never seen anything like it anywhere else! I did review it a few years back but they do tweak the recipes on the menu here often and I think it's fair to review again after a few years have passed ! 😇 It's an all #rawvegan dish. The rolls are a soft #pumpkin dough and they are stuffed with #avocado , #babyspinach , #creamcheese #sundriedtomatoes pesto, #mango and a creamy sauce. I really don't know why the name is #masala and they don't resemble #uttapam much either but this dish tastes like straight up heaven! It has so many of my favourite flavours, the texture is amazing, and it blows my mind how they can make raw carmelized onion ! I highly recommend trying this dish when visiting Ubud! It is beyond amazing and pure #veganart . This #allveganrestaurant is one of the rare restaurants in Bali like this owned by Balinese so it's really special too. Chef Made Runatha and Made Janur are the co-founders of this awesome establishment, and not only do they have one of the best restaurants in the world, they have a permaculture garden, farmer's market, martial arts dojo and have many initiatives and projects to promote sustainability and plant based living in Bali 🙏🏽💚 Personal side note....Finally I'm at my 1000th review and honestly it's been a real push to get here. Getting to 1000 was a lot harder than I thought it would be as I put a lot of pressure on myself to get more reviews done by the end of the year. I may end up taking a needed little mental health break soon.... it's also been really frustrating as my phone is broken....my photos are all blurry (and I'm not in a position to replace it yet 🥺) I'm very happy to be part of this community and I'm still figuring out how to balance my energy with everything else going on in life right now ... This dish is probably one of the best things I had on the entire Bali trip, maybe one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! The melt in your mouth eggplant just soaked up the rendang sauce beautifully, and the sauce was so rich and flavourful. I really recommend this dish if you come here!

I love this restaurant. Beautiful permaculture garden surroundings and delicious food. This tasting plate of Balinese dishes was delish! Turmeric rice, tempeh sambal, daily lawar, vegan crispy shrimp and calamari, roasted jackbelly and coconut mushroom soup. My favourite was the crispy shrimp and the roasted jack belly!
