This consisted of stunningly authentic-tasting and looking 🐓-free Yo Egg poached 🥚 prepared two ways. Both have a crave-worthy 🌱-based poached 🥚 with a runny yolk inside a smooth, tender, and firm 🥚 white, savory, creamy 🐮🥛-free house cheese sauce, and arugula on top of an English muffin. In addition, the soyrizo option has lively soyrizo, avocado, and tomato, and the sausage option has hearty, herby 🌱-based breakfast sausage. This was my first time ordering a bowl of Macnocheese at Homegrown Smoker, typically I opt for their Macnocheeto burrito or one of the combo plates, but since my friend and I decided to share their BBQ Soycurl Salad, we thought a side of warm mac would be nice. Homegrown Smokers Macnocheese is creamy and tasty, but I think it’s better when stuffed inside their burgers and burritos. By itself, it’s not the best vegan mac I’ve ever had, but it is satisfying. I think there needs to be more tang added to it via miso or some other ingredient. This consisted of tender, meaty tempeh ribs and soy curls in tangy, sweet, and smoky BBQ sauce, 🌱-based mac & cheese, tender and tangy collard greens, and hushpuppies. It was hearty, full of flavor, and very generously sized, plenty for two people. Since Homegrown Smoker changed owners over a year ago, they now offer Oatly vanilla soft-serve ice cream and delicious flavors swirled in for milkshakes. This Butterfinger milkshake has peanut butter 🥜 swirled into it, along with chocolate chips and Chick-o-stick candy crumbles, which taste very similar to Butterfinger but vegan. 💯 Swirled onto the cup is vegan chocolate sauce, and the shake is topped with vegan whipped cream & more Chick-o-stick crumbles.
