Love a cauliflower dish, and these are battered and fried before coating in sauce. Light spiciness. Would be lovely if the cauliflowers are crispy.

Hearty, healthy, and relatively flavourful, though not particularly unique and I did find it a little pricey for what it was. Brought a bunch of non-veg guys here and they were shook, especially since they wouldn't typically imagine liking cauliflower. New addition to the menu! ✨ Unlike conventional jajangmyeon, mul (water) jajangmyeon is a specialty from Jeonju, using soy sauce and starch water instead of black bean paste, and featuring seafood instead of diced meat. It does, however, use the same thick chewy wheat flour noodles. 🍜 This vegan version came with 'fishcake'-like tofu, chopped mixed mushrooms such as shiitake and shimeji, zucchini, as well as cabbage. 🍄🥒🥬 The overall flavour profile reminded me of Japanese champon seafood noodles! New addition to the menu! ✨ Personally preferred the spicy rendition, but this non-spicy rendition was interesting too. Apart from the spiciness levels, both dishes were essentially pretty much the same - thick chewy wheat flour noodles with 'fishcake'-like tofu and chopped mixed mushrooms as 'seafood' substitutes, alongside zucchini and cabbage, all stir-fried in soy sauce and starch water. 🍜🍄🥒🥬 The Jeonju mul (water) jajangmyeon tasted kinda like Japanese champon seafood noodles; nothing at all like conventional jajangmyeon with black bean paste and diced meat. And considering how spinach usually shrinks into a miniscule 🤏 amount after cooking, this was actually a very generous pile of spinach ahaha. Non-veg companion enjoyed this plate of leafy greens too alongside the Beoseot Gangjeong mushrooms! This was lovely. They slapped on a “chilli” icon in the menu and placed a fat slice of chilli on the pancake…… bbbuttttt… it was not spicy at all!
