This is a beautiful dish, both to look at and to taste. The very generous serving of ramen comes with a bowl of mixed quinoa and golden rice, a bowl of pickled vegetables, and a slice of lemon for squeezing over your aesthetic soup. The first thing I noticed, apart from the quality noodles, was the broth. It was deep, complex, and something I’ve never tasted before. I couldn’t put my finger on what went into that broth but it was interestingly delicious. The soup boasted a rainbow of vegetables- red and yellow capsicum, black fungus, corn kernels, sliced garlic, bean sprouts, eggplant, the lot. I just wished this was mine and not my friend’s dish I sampled so I could have it all to myself!
