A hearty breakfast! This would definitely be a hangover cure, with a whole mountain of potatoes topped with vegan breakfast sausage and hollandaise sauce. It was really delicious. The hollandaise rich and creamy and the potatoes nice and crispy. Needed some hot sauce.

This mocktail had strawberry, grapefruit, ginger kombucha and mint. It was very sweet and very fruity! Nice for a hot day. I wish I tasted the ginger and mint a little more, I found the strawberry overpowering. 🍓 ♥️

This coffee was a special on the menu today. A rich and flavourful coffee with coconut milk and a coconut whipped cream on top. My mom loved this, I however found it a little too coconutty for my taste.

My grandmother had this dish, which I tasted #forthereview. It was so yummy!! The butter ‘chicken’ was saucy and rich and creamy and it paired nicely with the salad and fried jalapeños. My grandma also found it delicious, and she is not vegan! The fries are also amazing here, dipped into this yummy herby aioli.

This gnocchi was flavourful!! I loved everything except for the gnocchi themselves, I found them overcooked and kind of mushy. But the beyond sausage was nice and crispy, and the sundried tomato pesto sauce was so rich and umami. Plus the ‘Parmesan’ gave it a great cheesiness. Close to perfect, but the gnocchi definitely fell short.

This cocktail tasted like a key lime pie! It had this aquafaba meringue on top that is literally heaven. It was so much like meringue! And they sprinkled it with cookie crumbs 🤤. The drink underneath was sour and citrusy and tasted like an alcoholic key lime curd. Their cocktails always impress!

Finally made it to my favourite vegan restaurant in the Ottawa area:) we started with the pulled ‘pork’ poutine, which was absolutely scrumptious. The piled jackfruit was as always meaty and juicy and had a delicious bbq flavour. The cheese curds were gooey and super cheesy (in fact my nonvegan grandparents even were amazing at how much it tasted like cheese). It would’ve been lovely to have a little more of the cheese curds and gravy, as some bites were just fries. Nonetheless even the fries were delicious so we were happy.

The mushroom scallops are really great , loved the consistency and flavor . The risotto had a lovely “ Parmesan “ cheese flavor , and was nice and thick. A little heavy on the salt though .

The poached ´yo egg’ was crazily similar to the real thing . The hollandaise sauce was delicious . The saitan ham was a little small , would have liked a larger piece on the English muffin . Home fries A-1 !
