6/10 gonna be harsh on the asian spice soba bowl from haakon cuz it’s $12. So firstly, the bouncy gochujang oyster mushrooms were the best part but it was slightly too salty. The purple cabbage coleslaw was pretty good with the sauce. However, i felt like the avocado was extremely out of place. It also had so many chilli flakes that it became too spicy to finish. The mango and tomato salsa and mala cucumber also contributed to the spiciness. The green tea soba noodles have a more watery/overcooked texture than normal soba.
A nutritious dish! But definitely an overpowering dressing that was strangely sweet.
You’ve got to try this dish. It’s cold, spicy, crunchy and so different in it’s texture and flavour. #veganisnotscary
