Braised Pork Rice (Lu Rou Fan)

Comforting bowl of rice, veggies, omni and @onlyeg. It was delicious and reminded me of lu rou fan. However I found the portion small for me.

The braised flavour is on point but the quantify of omnipork is too little to feel fully satisfying, in my opinion.

Decided to try the lu rou fan (vegan without the additional hard boiled egg), the monthly special at Warung Ijo. It was okay - not anywhere near as faithful to the original dish as Warung Ijo tends to be. OmniMeat was used to replace the mince meat in this dish, but the flavour profile was off, so it didn't entirely work for me. Perfectly fine as a meal, but not really lu rou fan in my books.
