
I usually avoid #yongtaufoo tht’s fried like this, but we all shared the dishes on the table. This was really good, there’s fried mashed #taupok #beancurdskin #ladiesfingers #chilli #bittergourd. Basically they’re all stuffed wth mashed #tofu and it’s not too soggy oily. The sauce on it was light,not too sweet or too spicy. Simple but filling.

Great assortment of vegetables and beancurd - bittergourd, chilli, eggplant, lady's finger, taupok, taukee, and taukwa! 🌶️🍆 Stuffed with textured soy protein that was dotted with carrot and black fungus etc. Swipe right ➡️ for a close-up of the stuffing! 📸 The housemade filling was generous and toothsome albeit slightly stringy; perhaps 'minced meat' style filling would have given a better texture resembling the real deal? Staff recommendation, and a good recommendation indeed. An array of veggies and tofu, each with tasty stuffing, cooked and topped with a beautiful sauce. Layers upon layers of flavours. Well worth a try if you’re visiting this place. If you’re around this part of town, Coco veggie is a great place for a meal. vego restaurant with mostly vegan dishes. Staff will tell you which few dishes are not vegan (really just a tiny handful). Really nice food with richest of flavours.
