Yerba Mate Strawberry & Lime

Last weekend we had a Vegan fest here in Malta, which went on for 2 days. It's still small, but it's already the second year and it's still growing. It's definitely a really nice opportunity to meet other like minded people and be in a relaxed atmosphere. Delicious and fresh taste! Got for £1 at Holland and Barrett.

I really enjoyed this. I find yerba mate really energising in any form, and enjoy it. This drink has the mouthfeel / refreshing effect of Coca Cola, but without the other junk. It does have an energy drink taste (probably the B vitamins), b it isn’t heavy. It’s sweetened with stevia, but isn’t sickly sweet and the strawberry/lime flavour is mildly bubblegum-like. Would 100% buy again. Fab. Marked vegan.
