French Onion Dip

Not as soft and smooth as traditional French dip, but very thick, more like a cream cheese. The flavor is very similar though. I enjoyed it with chips, just like how I normally enjoy French dip. This wasn’t creamy as expected, but more like the consistency of cream cheese. But still, the best substitute for cream cheese I’ve found so far. So I made an old favorite dip: chopped onions and green olives, mixed with a splash of the olive water to make it creamier. Perfect!
