Vegan Plant Based Patties with Mushrooms & Wine

I was really surprised by how meaty these were! I thought they'd be more of a mushroom-forward veggie burger, but they're mostly pea protein. That made them more protein dense than I was expecting too - 20g! These made delicious mushroom swiss burgers. I'm not sure I really tasted the mushroom and wine when I tried the patty alone, but it was just very savory and meaty. I liked it more than Impossible/Beyond because it doesn't have an aftertaste like those two tend to. Unfortunately, they are packaged in a lot of plastic, like how Beyond started with their packaging. I wanted to like this so badly but I just didn’t love the flavor. I didn’t get the mushroom taste or not strong enough. I love the idea of seasoned or flavored patties as an alternative to the beyond or impossible burgers but I would rather eat one of those. I’m still thrilled that vegan alternatives are getting a lot of attention and launching in target so I’m still a supporter!

Whoa these are great! I've been fortunate to try all sorts of vegan burgers, and this one has a very unique flavor. The texture to me seemed most similar to a Beyond Burger. It cooks up nicely. Since I have to limit my sodium, I could sample only a few bites (one patty packs a relatively large 910mg of sodium). Glad to see this line at Target, will be trying more of her food soon :) 🍔

I immediately got my butt over to Target this morning to check out Tabitha Brown's new vegan line of food. It launched nationwide in Targets today. 🥳 These burgers are very good. They're similar to Beyond, but with a more complex mushroomy flavor. Very high in sodium at 910 mg per burger, but that is to be expected with these types of burgers, and I'm fine with eating them once in awhile.
