I don’t really opt for soups like this often but I was curious enough to try it out. The little noodle shapes are fun and the seitan was flavorful and tasty. The seitan was in small bits throughout the soup so it was present in most bites and didn’t have any odd texture issues. The soup basically had a “canned soup” taste, which is not inherently a bad thing but also not something I long for; this is something that’s nice and comforting when you need something warm and quick. At only 200 calories and a blast of sodium, it’s more like a snack than a meal, though. I enjoyed it for what it was, but most likely will not repurchase. I think it’s nice that these options exist as they are great for cold and tired/sick/lazy days. Got this #canned #soup that was so #quickandeasy to warm up and tastes great. It is just the right amount of #chunks with #pasta and some #veggies. Overall great flavor and makes for an easy meal.
Can really taste the sodium in this. Added some nutritional yeast and soup crackers to try and cover up the salty taste. This is the 3rd Upton product I’ve tried and haven’t cared for. Probably won’t be buying much more of this brand.
Such good soup 🍲 !! I love it, so delicious & comforting. The broth is tasty, and it's not skimpy on the ingredients. There's plenty of ditalini/pasta, seitan, carrot, and spinach. High in sodium as it's canned soup, but works well as a meal with some bread with olive oil (or crackers). Can't recommend enough if it's at your grocery store!! 💗
Always in my pantry. Grab it for road trip ms & also keep one in my bag when visiting meat eaters. Has the easy lift up tab. Hearty. Has seitan in it!!
