I sprinkle this on a lot of things like oatmeal, eggs, salads etc. Gives food a little flavor and adds some nutrients.
Nutritional yeast is a deactivated yeast product that is commonly used as a cheese substitute by vegans and those with dairy allergies. It has a nutty and cheesy flavor that can be added to a variety of dishes, including popcorn, sauces, dressings, pasta dishes, and vegetables. Nutritional yeast is a good source of vitamin B and can be used to add a savory, umami taste to meals. It is available at Trader Joe's and can be found in the baking or seasoning aisle.

I use nutritional yeast regularly, sprinking a little bit here and there into dishes for some cheezy flavour and b12. This nooch from Trader Joe's is great.
Nutritional yeast is a beloved vegan product, and having tried various brands over the years, I do notice subtle variations in flavor, though the distinction is usually in flake size and fortification. This nooch is tasty and has relatively large flakes. Without comparing ingredient listings, I’d guess this one is Bragg’s - or at least it’s quite similar to that brand. Nice to be able to pick up some at TJ’s. #nutritionalyeast #nooch #traderjoes
I've been stuck in bed the past several days with a back spasm, ugh.🤦🏼♀️ In my opinion, mac and cheeze is the perfect #vegan comfort food when you can't walk. We usually keep a bottle of Braggs Nooch in our pantry at all times, but Trader Joe's brand is just as good and a great price at $3.49 it has both protein and B vitamins and gives food a great cheezy flavor. It's great to add in to sauces, stews etc. This was combined with potatoes, raw cashews and carrots to make a creamy vegan cheeze sauce. It wasn't bad at all. I still really like the Daiya Mac, but this is a hit healthier. #veganisnotscary #ditchdairy #dairyfree #veganmacncheese #noodles #pasta #abillionlove
i love the cheesy flavor of nutritional yeast! it’s great to sprinkle onto your food, and even better mixed into a sauce. i always use it to mix into my vegan mac, and it brings a depth of flavor you can’t find anywhere else. while “cheesy”, nooch can also be used for recipes that don’t involve cheese at all; i love using it to add extra depth to soups, make seitan, and mix into my tofu scramble!
