I really like this dried blend of couscous, orzo, quinoa, and mini garbanzo beans. It’s
easy to prepare, has a pleasing texture, and is tasty (add some of your own fav seasonings or just salt); it is a nice side OR main dish.
This blend of grains is a great alternative to couscous. It tastes hearty and wholesome,
and it quick and easy to make. (Boil water. Let simmer for 10 mins. Done.) I didn’t even realize that it’s high in protein, too — yay.
I mixed this today with some scallions and chopped radishes from our CSA farmer, some rehydrated dried apricots, and grated vegan parmesan, and chilled it for an hour. It made for a delightful picnic lunch.
I just wish Trader Joe’s would package this differently. These grains don’t need to be packaged in plastic.
Powerhouse blend..Couscous , orzo , quinoa and beans all packaged together. A family favorite
This is a nice blend of orzo , red quinoa , pearled couscous and split
baby garbanzo beans it cooks up pretty quickly . It has 160 calories per serving , 6 grams protein and 2 grams of fiber . It’s nice for a different side
