Review of Harvest blend - Trader Joe's by daisy20
This blend of grains is a great alternative to couscous. It tastes hearty and wholesome, and it quick and easy to make. (Boil water. Let simmer for 10 mins. Done.) I didn’t even realize that it’s high in protein, too — yay.
I mixed this today with some scallions and chopped radishes from our CSA farmer, some rehydrated dried apricots, and grated vegan parmesan, and chilled it for an hour. It made for a delightful picnic lunch.
I just wish Trader Joe’s would package this differently. These grains don’t need to be packaged in plastic.
