Spanish Chorizo

This is hands down up there with one of my favourite sandwich fillers & for

sure always have a pack at hand in the fridge. My only issue again, is you have like 8-10 slices in a pack, and I usually put 2-3 in one sandwich … The texture is superb, not dry or bland at all - quite the opposite actually… lots of flavour with a little bit of a kick but not too much. Tastes as close and as good as you’re going to get to chorizo! Haven’t seen any other vegan alternatives so this is a rare and good’n! Highly recommend! I really like Squeaky Bean slices. Chorizo and the applewood ham are my favourites.

This

chorizo tastes exactly as I remember chorizo slices from my childhood, which actually gave me sort of a trauma, because I stopped eating them after years because I literally tasted blood one time I bought them - and I never came back to it.

It’s been over 10 years since that happened and I’ve found that these slices are just perfect. They are tasty, texture is spot on, no cruelty and no blood involved.

It’s a shame that there aren’t bigger packages available though, because at our house they just disappear.

They could do better in regards of resealing the packages because it’s easy to forget to put it into another airtight container, and the product will dry in the fridge a bit once it’s been opened.

I would recommend them to anyone, even meat eaters. I used to eat meat too, years ago - and I absolutely love this product.

Unfortunately this has the texture of wafer thin ham, that processed thinness and tear, BUT

the taste was amazing and exactly what I remember chorizo being like. Spicy, with that herby aftertaste to follow😋
I reckon in a Sandwich or dish the taste would work very very well
