Spatone is an iron-rich water supplement that comes in boxes of handy 1-serve sachets. This version comes with vitamin C (to help absorb the iron) and is apple flavoured, which can taste a bit heartburn-y. One sachet is 36% RDA iron and 100% RDA vitamin C, which is handy for topping up your iron intake when needed. Pharmacies and I think supermarkets sell this now as well as health food shops, and it’s often on offer in buy one get one half-price or buy 2 get one free etc. #veganin2020
Great! Not the tastiest but bareable - I had very low iron after episode of depression and therefore not eating so this helping get back to normal with food and get iron levels back up
Tastes like apple flavoured blood but ok when you get used to it
