Ricordate che vi avevo raccontato che senza farlo apposta ho ricreato una sorta di besciamella

per la cremina da aggiungere sulla mia torta salata? E che avevo usato della #feta vegana, che forse ha contribuito al risultato inaspettato?
Ebbene, in realtà non era proprio feta ma non saprei come tradurre questo nome alquanto originale di "Hirtengenuss", letteralmente piacere/goduria del pastore. Quel che in tedesco suona totalmente accettabile e simpatico, in italiano diventa il titolo di un cortometraggio porno...
Detto questo, eccovi il prodotto, creato con più del 70% di estratto di #mandorle . L'olio di #cocco è presente, ma in minore quantità, quindi il prodotto è sicuramente più sano di altre alternative al #formaggio . È un blocchetto bianco e compatto, dalla superficie liscia. Tagliato in dadini almeno assume un po' di carattere. Salato, comme il faut, non si scioglie veramente alla cottura. Vi copio gli ingredienti presi direttamente dal sito della Migros . Nonostante io abbia inserito la lingua italiana, gli ingredienti restano scritti in tedesco... mi affido al buon funzionamento del tasto di traduzione che ci ha fatto l'onore di tornare tra noi: 76% Mandelerzeugnis (Trinkwasser. 13% entölte und gemahlene MANDELN), Kokosöl. Speisesalz, Geliermittel, Carrageem und Gellan, Säuerungsmittel Milchsäure*, Säureregulator Calciumactat, Festigungsmittel Kaliumchlorid, Aroma. 🤤 This #fetaalternative is perfect for preparing greek salad or as a topping for other

salads as well. Very delicious but not the best feta compared to some other alternatives that are available imo. I like the fact that - other than some other alternatives- it contains some protein and not only fat 👍.

Finally I tried this one..., after sneaking around it like a cat

around the bush for a while, (just because of the price 😐). Taste is great !! ...not dry or crumbly.
I used this vegan feta cheese to add it to a salad (and one stripe of it I ate without anything else 😄).
That feta cheese is made on a base of almonds.

I would buy it more often, but to me the price seems a little to high - I think no-vegan products should be that expensive, not the vegan ones.
An animal life should be valued more than the life of some almonds..., just saying.

Bought: Germany, "Rewe" supermarket, 2,99 € (for 150g)
