The first time I just added a few veggies and not much else. I didn’t care for it all that much. It’s not as flavorful as their Veggie one, which I love and get regularly. The second time I tried this, I replaced some of the water with soy milk and coconut milk, and I added some tahini sauce, along with fried mushroom, carrots, and garlic. That made a big difference. It was like a Tantanmen Ramen, very creamy, and it mellowed out the spicy seasonings this comes with. I would get this again for preparing at home so that I can make tweaks like this, and will continue getting their Veggie one for my work at the office, since that one taste so good without any modifications and quick to whip up in the microwave. However, I will try this at least once at work in the microwave. A coworker gave me a microwavable bowl that makes the Ramen taste so good. The noodles come out perfectly al dente and the perfect heat. The instructions for stovetop says to boil for four minutes for al dente noodles, but by that time, it’s so hot that I had to let it cool down a bit, and by then, the noodles are a bit too soft. I may need to try to boil for less time next time. There’s little cubes of dried tofu that expand a little, but I can imagine this being even much more flavorful if adding some cubes of fried tofu, along with the soy milk, coconut milk, and tahini sauce that I already tried. Each pack is 2 servings. The bowl of noodles that you see in my photo is just one serving. It’s a pretty good size and also provides a decent amount of #protein. #highinsodium but I think that’s expected for Ramen. #ramen #saltysaturday #mushroomlover #nongshim #staysalty
