Semi sweet Chocolate chips

These aren't too sweet and the size is perfect for baking into larger pastries! #chocoholic

Did everyone else know that Trader Joe's has vegan chocolate chips?! I was really surprised when my mom pulled these out. I'm used to buying their giant pound plus dark chocolate bar and just chopping that up for my baking, these are much more convenient! They melted great when mixed with a bit of coconut oil. We covered some vanilla almond biscotti with it. Delicious! I'm not sure if it's the plain packaging that is playing tricks on me or something else, but these taste off to me. They are fine mixed with other baked goods but eating them plain it seems there is something missing or off about them.

I think these are one of those “accidentally vegan” products but hooray!! They are delicious and economical. I side them to make vegan chocolate chip cookies (I have the best recipe from a friend 🤐)! And I also snack on them too!!

These semi-sweet chocolate chips from Trader Joe's are vegan, gluten-free, and oh so delicious! Yummy in peanut butter brownies for sure!
