best #bread ever!!! my mom did always tell me not to play with my food but i couldn't help myself so i made a face with my bread 😑 this bread is loaded with #olives 🫒 😋 #olivelover it's light and has the perfect texture, especially toasted so you have that light crunch outside and the soft chewiness inside. oddly, it was also #dunkable in ☕️ but i passed on using preserves for that. somehow the raspberry/olive/coffee combo didn't sound very good. #carbsforlife #carblover

Sometimes it's nice when I haven't been to TJ's in a while and I'm just blown away by all the new stuff. My jaw dropped when I saw fougasse in the bread section. When I was in the south of France a few years ago, I went on a wine tour to the Provence countryside outside of Avignon. Our first stop was the most picturesque town of Beaumes-de-Venise. The fougasse that we had for breakfast there was probably my favorite thing we had the entire trip. I knew this really couldn't compare, but it was still fun to see. TJ's version is more just like a funny looking loaf of French bread with olives. Fresh fougasse has a lot more olive oil and is crispy and flaky. I toasted this loaf and it was a nice snack, but fougasse might just be something I need to learn to make. Maybe brushing it with olive oil will bring it closer to traditional fougasse. I know 🫒 can be divisive; you must be on team olive in order to like this bread and thankfully I’m a member. This loaf is delicious. It warms up well, remaining soft inside and crusty on the outside. The Kalamata olives and black olives are dispersed generously throughout the bread, giving a wonderful flavor, saltiness and bit of texture. I enjoyed some with vegan butter and some with lutenica (roasted pepper/tomato/carrot spread). Would absolutely repurchase. $3.49 at Trader Joe’s #bread #olivebread #olives #traderjoes

Loved this! Such an interesting combination, the bitterness of olives is quite noticeable, but the bread can still be paired with almost anything. I had it with TJ’s chimichurri sauce. I also loved the consistency, it is quite soft and it is so easy to tear off a piece. Good price too.

Artisan style olive bread that is soft and doughy and full of kalamata and black olives. It’s even better heated up. Comes in an interesting pretzel like shape this is great for entertaining guests. This would be a perfect bread for dipping into olive oil.
