Black garlic is a type of fermented garlic that has been aged for several weeks or even months. During the fermentation process, the garlic cloves are exposed to heat and humidity, which causes them to turn black and develop a mellow, sweet, and slightly pungent flavor. Black garlic is often used as a seasoning in cooking, and it is believed to have several health benefits, such as boosting the immune system and reducing inflammation.

This creamy spread is so rich in flavor and umami with the porcini mushrooms and black garlic. I just tried it for the first time with some crackers and potato chips, but I can see this as easily making a fantastic pasta sauce. I found this on sale, and after finding how good it taste, I’m about to pick up another pack or two. I really like this #productofcanada because I even like their vegan brie, and I normally don’t like brie at all. This also has a great amount of #vitaminb12 at a whopping 35% of DV. #womenowned #organic #nofillers #garlicspread #blackgarlic #nutsforcheese #fermented
