Silken Tofu Soft

Since I’ve been wanted to make cream of broccoli, and cream of asparagus soups , I’m adding this soft tofu for the creamy. Will posted pictures once is done tomorrow.

I usually buy the tofu from the refrigerated section, but they've been out of silken tofu for weeks now, so I decided to buy this Morinaga shelf stable one. The flavor was very similar to the refrigerated one. I used it to make chocolate mousse, and the flavor was very mild - we couldn't taste it in the mousse at all. I think it would be handy to have a couple of these in the pantry since they have a much longer shelf life. #chocolatemousse #silkentofu #dessert

I love tofu that’s no secret (GO Team Tofu!) so I put it almost everywhere and silken is very versatile, I use it cake batters, to make sauces, puddings, and a billion of other options are up to you, for example just blend it and you’ll have a luxurious creamy base for everything may comes to your mind.
