Wow! Am I shocked on how good these plant 🌱 based cutlets by Meati

came out! Airfryed as instructed on package, sliced them up and added to loaded fajitas I made for dinner! Hubby devoured 3 of these (saved the last for work lunch) and with the leftover cutlets I made mine into a salad! So so yum! So happy we tried these and will most definitely get again! Currently on sale Whole Foods Market for $7.28 with Amazon Prime Membership. $8.09 without #veganinillinois

These vegan chicken cutlets tasted SO good!! They’re made with mushroom root. They were ready

pretty quickly in the oven. They come without seasoning and I did a rub of onion powder, salt, black pepper and thyme.
I got them at Sprouts for $8, There was a $1 discount, they’re usually $9.
I’ll be buying them again cause they taste really Great and they’re a healthy meat alternative and source of protein.

I really loved Meati's carne asada, so I was interested in how they'd handle making

a vegan chicken. It definitely tastes a bit more like how I remember turkey tasting. It also has a bit more of a turkey texture, although it's a bit less stringy. I don't like the bologna look of the raw cutlets, but they do cook up nicely. These held up nicely in a Savory Spice coconut curry soup! These are great! Great texture. I sautéed this batch with dill, thyme, rosemary, s&p. They

cook up fast. I made some yesterday too with garlic and shallots and put it on top of a salad - so yummy!. I thought they would come as strips like the cover photo but they come as 2 “breasts” in a vacuum sealed pack. Excited to try more of this brand! They had some other flavors but I got these on clearance so I bought several of these.

These are an awesome vegan chikin cutlet option. They cook easily in a skillet

in 10-12 minutes. I used them in vegan chikin wraps and they were perfect. Will definitely be buying again:) #veganchicken
