Indeed, it did melt like a dream! Just don’t overcook it though or it’ll harden again. It didn’t do so well baked on a vegan pizza as it got a little dried out and overcooked with the oven fan, but it melted fabulously piled high on a bit of bread under the grill to make a grilled cheese sandwich 😋 The flavour is on the mild side, much more like a mozzarella than a cheddar. My friend snagged this for me as a discount bargain at $5 a bag.

It tastes and looks pretty good, though it cooks up like a vegan cheese... On a galette, it melted and became persistently gooey on the bottom, and crisped up without melting on the top 🤣 #vegancheese #cheddar
Really enjoy this one, has a great cheddar flavour. One of the best cheeses I’ve tried from Coles or Woolies. Like everything price has shot up lately, now $6.25 for 200g from Woolies.
Really convenient in this form. I’m always wary of shredded cheeses as they tend to go off quickly but I use this for lasagnes, cheese sauces etc and it gets used fast.
Best cheddar ! Melts as normal cheese with a incredible taste. Making your dish yumm Good texture as well. Perfect for burger and pasta !
