I followed the instructions for soaking and preparing. It didn’t turn out very well. There was a funny powdery taste. It’ll take more trials to make it better. Made bolognese with it, which was ok. #veganprotein #vegan

Another pantry staple. Very customisable - add your own flavour to your heart's content. ❤️ The TVP at the top of the bag comes in nice hefty chunks; the bottom is crumbly dust due to product settling. Also great source of #protein and fibre :)
Such a versatile product. Have used as mince in spaghetti, but also as a taco mix. Has good flavour, but plain so used seasoning in dishes. Easy to prepare too.
That was my first timr buying this. I was a little bit sceptical but in full meal (curry) was good. Maybe I will buy this one more time.
$2.50 for 4 very generous serves, can’t beat that value! As always for TVP it’s super quick and convenient to use, can last for ages sitting in the pantry and rehydrates in minutes. Really low in fat and easy to flavour and season how you like. Used this to whip up a lazy pasta bolognese.
