The food bank where I volunteer almost always has these #accidentallyvegan #biscuits out as a mid-shift snack. Usually I go for something more exciting, like Nutter Butters, but these #shortbread #cookies surprisingly weren’t bad! Very #crisp, crumbly, and buttery-tasting; they also aren’t too sweet, which I consider a huge plus. I think they’d be especially nice crumbled over some vegan yogurt or with fresh berries.

Confession time: out of the 2 hours it takes to donate platelets, I spend at least a hour of that time thinking about the Lornadoone shortbread cookies that I always eat afterwards. Light & crisp, a great snack just about any time :)
These are a tasty dessert. Not too sweet and the serving size is enough to calm the sweet tooth. Surprisingly vegan.
