Good cake and I hope WW bring out more speciality cakes. Priced slightly high for the size. The icing is my favourite part.

Everything about this hummingbird cake is PHENOMENAL! 😍 From the delicious cream cheese frosting, to the pumpkin seeds and cranberries sprinkled on top, to the crushed pineapple in the lovely sponge - you cannot go wrong! 🍰 If you enjoyed the spiced coconut teacake (which I just realised I haven’t seen in a while, has it been discontinued? 🤔) YOU WILL LOVE THIS! The sponge is definitely very similar, but I think the frosting on this cake is 10x better. Both cakes have a very similar vibe. I absolutely get why this was voted the Fairlady Test House Best Buy of 2022! It is R209, so it’s not necessarily the most affordable thing one would have on a grocery list 😬 but I do think it is well worth it. R210 - similar taste and texture to the coconut tea cake (a favourite of mine) with a few added spices and the wonderful cream cheese frosting. Gave it 4 stars for taste as I would’ve liked more spice and some nuts. Overall a decent tasting cake that I will buy again (when I have some spare change) ps: mutilated the poor cake when I sliced it hence the slice falling apart in the second photo 👀 #vegancake #xmascake #yummy
Lovely cake. It’s a bit sweeter than I would prefer it, though. There is more than enough icing on the cake and in between the layers. The sponge is soft. Nice decoration with crunchy nuts and fruits.
This is delicious! I definitely recommend it if you’re a fan of carrot cakes, spiced cakes etc. It is really tasty and something different! I will absolutely buy it again! R209 for quite a small cake, but I think that’s just what cakes cost these days! 😉
