the veg fest organised by the Tzu-Chi Hall, and they unabashedly claimed to be hawking Hoshay's #friedchicken product. Boy do they do it well: it's so gloriously crispy, and the spicy seasoning that they liberally throw on top just takes the entire thing to the next level 😋 A shame that I didn't bother to take a good picture (picture 2 is a pretty half-arsed attempt 😅), but could you really blame me when such good food was at hand? 😏
the fried chicken is big and roughly about 3 times the size of a nuggest. It tasted like KFC with the crispy herb infused skin and tender "meat" which were made of beancurb. Overall enjoyed this alot!
free samples, came back with, among others, this. It’s one of the best vegan fried chicken I’ve had! The breading is perfectly spiced and gets super crunchy, even in the air-fryer. The inside is made from tofu skin and some more stuff, but damn, it’s convincingly chicken 🍗 Best part: I got a whole 400g package for 7.5RM, about 1.50€. #veganchicken #hoshay #reviewwithaview
real meat since it was obviously made of yuba, yet this was very addictive and taste-wise reminiscent of KFC Zinger fried chicken! Air fried it and it was perfect, not oily.
