Saw this #friedchicken on discount at Fairprice and was intrigued. It’s pretty crispy after air frying and the coating is flavourful. The texture inside is stringy as it’s tofu skin but got a little mushy after awhile. It’s surprisingly pretty high in saturated fats so it’s an indulgence for sure. Oh well, #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease.

This has got to be one of my fav fried chkn brands so far!! Skin is light with an airy crisp & very well seasoned, & the meat is sooo juicy tender 😋 I was also shook at how big each chunk was, didn’t expect it to be so large! I’ll be adding this to my new regular cheeky fried kitchen staples for sure 👌🏽
Under RM18 and resembling #chook in terms of outlook with the stringy feel on the inside though a fail in the breading department; crumbs more than actual #chicken itself with a peppery kick and smelling better than it pecks. Good effort but nay #soy #alliumfree #nuggets
Yesterday I went to Foodicious - a huge food and beverage expo. Went for the free samples, came back with, among others, this. It’s one of the best vegan fried chicken I’ve had! The breading is perfectly spiced and gets super crunchy, even in the air-fryer. The inside is made from tofu skin and some more stuff, but damn, it’s convincingly chicken 🍗 Best part: I got a whole 400g package for 7.5RM, about 1.50€. #veganchicken #hoshay #reviewwithaview
#sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😊 I'm not sure how to file this review; found a food truck at the veg fest organised by the Tzu-Chi Hall, and they unabashedly claimed to be hawking Hoshay's #friedchicken product. Boy do they do it well: it's so gloriously crispy, and the spicy seasoning that they liberally throw on top just takes the entire thing to the next level 😋 A shame that I didn't bother to take a good picture (picture 2 is a pretty half-arsed attempt 😅), but could you really blame me when such good food was at hand? 😏
