[SG, Alliums Free Vegan Products @herbyvorefoods, Promo ⬇️] Do you know that HerbYvore food products are 100% plant-based, alliums free & vegan. They are sustainably sourced whereby the protein ingredient is farm-to-fork and the final products are made in 🇸🇬. This brand was born out of a desire to motivate more people to embrace a plant-based diet to make a sustainable positive impact to health, as well as to the planet. 💯% likey their brand purpose. 🥰 Currently, they have launched 3 products for the community. I have tried them and loving the taste 😋 💚 HerbYvore Plant Protein Block: This is a versatile ingredient for plant-based recipes that do not compromise on the taste and flavours. It looks like tofu but offer more protein than tofu, cooks like a non-melting cheese and provides a binding effect needed in some plant-based recipes. Earlier we used it in pie, pasta and sweets. Gosh, all tasted so good. I finished my set in no time. Swipe >>> to see our cook! 💚 HerbY-Cheese Series: Mozzarella & Cheddar : These plant-based cheeses features a farm-to-fork protein sourced from peas, making them possibly few of the healthiest vegan cheeses around. Their cheese grates and melts just like real Cheeses. To me, they indeed tasted like mozzarella and cheddar. 🤤 Eating it, I feel like pairing with red wine & crackers. They would be good pairing to sandwiches and serve well as cheese shavings for pasta too. ⬇️ Go give these delicious products a try. Maybe you will fall in love with these like I do. By itself, this paneer doesn't have a lot of taste but it is cheesy in its own way. I'd definitely prefer it saltier. This is my very first time cooking an Indian dish from scratch - palak paneer - and I'm so proud of how it turned out! I was put off from cooking Indian food myself due to the amount of spices which I do not have, but I managed this with garam masala at home. While not very flavourful the cheese goes really well in this dish that I've hardly got to eat since going vegan, and I love palak which is healthy and delicious. I divided the 200g pack into 2 meals and there was a generous amount of cheese for each. It looks and tastes a little bit like tofu but it isn't. My mum said that the cheese tastes much healthier than regular cheese with all the salt. Ate the palak paneer with store bought naan.

I had high hopes for this vegan paneer. Upon opening it, I was not impressed by the first sniff - smelled like strong tofu. I gave it a taste. It is crumbly, pasty, and yet dry. No good taste at all. I thought it would be more creamy for how much fat is in it! I added a bit of a marinade to make it a little more cheesy - some water, nutritional yeast, salt, rice vinegar. I did the same for some tofu. I sautéed both separately. The tofu cooked as usual and was delicious. This stuff stuck to the pan more, crumbled apart when I wasn’t careful enough, and it didn’t get a tasty crust like tofu does, it just kind of dried up on the outside. Didn’t taste much better than before. I made a palak paneer curry and added both this and the tofu to it. Though my tofu was a bit on the soft side, it tasted much better than this vegan paneer. The paneer remained dry tasting, yet pasty and crumbly. Even if I could not eat soy, I would not bother buying this again. Unpleasant.
