Happy St Patrick’s day!!☘️☘️🇮🇪I made a hearty Irish VEGAN stew for my family. My Nan

makes the meat version for our family every time we visit Donegal but I always miss out. It feels great to have found a vegan alternative that took me straight back to my childhood!! I used ritchmond sausages and oyster mushrooms to substitute the meat and the broth was made from Guinness, mushroom stock and Bisto✨✨✨✨✨

Guinness only went vegan in the last couple years. A doctor in the UK once

told me that Guinness Stout is such a good iron source that some doctors prescribe it for their patients with iron deficiency. It’s best on draft, and as a Irish friend once told me, it should be quaffed not sipped.

We used this to make our cake - dark cacao powder and a whole lotta

Guinness. It added a nice bitter and earthy flavor to the cake. #veganisnotscary

I just recently got into Guinness. I didn’t know it was vegan. Very good beer

for these cold months.

Not at all like regular Guinness. Totally different drink. Rich, sweet, leaves your mouth dry,

not like a regular Guinness which is bitter, burnt (both in a good way) and refreshing.
