Foreign Extra Stout by GuinnessLow Lai Chow's Review (May 2, 2025)

Guinness used to be legendary for its use of isinglass (non-vegan gelatin from fish swim bladders) in its brewing process. In 2015-2016 the Irish stout giant completely phased out this terrible practice and is veganfriendly to this time. Saw this canned beer on the shelf today and decided to get it - sure, it's not as tasty as stout on tap, but here's a toast to all companies out there doing the right thing. Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn't mean it has to stay that way. DRINK RESPONSIBLY. PRODUCE RESPONSIBLY. ✌🏻
