I got to try a box of this Mac & cheese for free, otherwise I prefer to make my own whole-foods based Mac sauce and use a gluten free high-protein pasta. Before I was vegan I only liked white cheddar cheese and this spiral rotini is one of my current favorite pasta shapes! I blended silken tofu with the sauce packet instead of butter and it was pretty creamy, however I needed to add a lot of nooch and spices for flavor! Cute how Target has a section devoted to macaroni & cheese where i saw 3 vegan offerings, this being the healthiest of those. Today is #macaroniMonday and #noodleTuesday elsewhere in the world. This product is also suitable for #fiberFriday fun due to the 7 G of fiber in a serving, although it is high in Sodium, so I'll eat half servings at a time.
This is by far the best vegan Mac & Cheese I’ve come across!! Has great cheesy cheddar flavor, and is really creamy. Made sure to scrape all the sauce out of the pan. Excited to find a good vegan Mac. Most of the ones I’ve tried have been subpar, I was beginning to think I wouldn’t find one I liked.
