These are such a great deal at Costco's that I bought them there knowing that

I'd have additional packs left after making the Wellington filling from Gaz Oakley's recipe (2nd photo after Wellington was cut, to show the inside) for a Christmas dinner. This added a nice savory flavor and texture to the vital wheat gluten. I'll probably use the rest of the chestnuts for stuffing and stews. This is a great source of potassium and fiber. #avantgardevegan

These chestnuts are a great snack! I usually eat them on their own but occasionally

add them to stews.

Delicious! #chestnut was one of my favorite snacks growing up, and as autumn approaches, I

find myself craving the sweet, toasty flavor more than ever. This pouch contains only #organic roasted #nuts, “no preservatives or additives.” They’re soft and delightful to snack on just by themselves; I also occasionally mash them up for a creme-de-marrons-style spread for my toast.

Very enjoyable — I just wish they could be packaged less wastefully. The packets are made of a thick plastic which, to my knowledge, goes straight to the landfill once it’s been used. #deathbyplastic I know they’re sometimes sold in tins, and I’d much prefer that if I could find them in my area.

of chestnuts but if you seriously hate any sliminess these are not for you!

To be honest, I grabbed this from a chilled vending machine as one of the

healthier snack options (and out of curiousity) 😅.
These are #organic, ready to eat #chestnuts. No added sugar or any other ingredients, but chestnuts naturally have a subtle sweetness anyway. Quite a bit softer and wetter compared to your usual fresh roasted (and hot) chestnut.
